| Liposculpture - The Safe, Quick Way to a More Contoured Figure |

What is LipoSculpture?
Liposculpture/Liposuction is a relatively new cosmetic surgical procedure which
removes fat in various body areas including the neck, chest, male breasts and
love handles, waist, upper arms, abdomen, thighs, knees, calves and buttocks.
This does not necessarily mean loss of weight, but rather reconfiguring your
body to a more pleasing shape. The procedure is relatively simple: small
incisions are made near the fat bulge and a hollow tube connected to a suction
apparatus is inserted. Excess fat is then removed.
Is The Operation Safe?
Absolutely. A local anesthetic minimizes the recovery period to a few days.
The small incision sites are virtually invisible. The skin will also naturally
contract over the reshaped area.
Why Not Lose Weight?
Weight loss is the optimum method to a flattering body. But often, weight
loss affects only certain areas. Even after a rigorous diet, the abdomen, hips,
thighs, and buttocks can remain essentially the same, leaving a person
discouraged with a feeling of “what’s the use.” LipoSculpture is a viable
option.
Will the Fat Return?
No. Fortunately, the human body is so constructed that once unwanted fat
cells are removed, they are eliminated forever. Of course, if a patient overeats
following surgery, weight gain will occur. But the excess poundage will be
distributed over the remaining fat cells. It must be remembered that
LipoSculpure is not a weight loss treatment but rather a way to shape and
removed unwanted bulges.
Equal Treatment
There are no sexual preferences with respect to LipoSculpture. Both men and
women increasingly use this method to achieve a more attractive appearance.
After Effects
Following treatment, expect between two and seven days of recuperation
dependent on the extent of liposuction you receive. Because of its inherent
elasticity, any excess skin will, in virtually all cases, shrink to accommodate
the new body contour.
Other Facts To Remember
- surgery need not be confined to a particular body area. Often,
LipoSculpture is performed on several areas during one treatment.
- Age is not a consideration. Older patients, however, might experience
incomplete skin shrinkage because of decreased elasticity. In such cases
excess skin should be removed surgically.
- Results are quite noticeable after six weeks, with improvement continuing
for up to one year.
- LipoSculpture can be repeated if necessary to attain the contours you
want. Anticipate about a three-month interim between procedures.
